The Assessors’ office is located at Town Hall, 1 JFK Memorial Drive, Braintree, Massachusetts 02184 on the second floor and can be reached by telephone at (781)794-8050 or by Fax (781)794-8068.

Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday – Friday. Please call ahead for holidays that may fall on a Monday to make sure that we will be able to assist you

There is a counter terminal available to the public at Town Hall, as well as printed books showing the property information on file.

Anyone disputing an assessment has the opportunity to apply for an abatement during the period AFTER the “actual” (3rd and 4th quarter) tax bills are mailed, but BEFORE the due date of the first “ACTUAL” tax payment for the fiscal year. Forms are available at the Assessors office
