Department Description:
Highway/Grounds Division’s functions include: Patching of pot holes, Sidewalk Repairs, Catch Basin Cleaning & Repairs, Snow Removal, Traffic Signs & Traffic Line Painting, Drainage repairs, Street Sweeping, Landscaping of Town Islands, sidewalk areas & lots, maintenance of town brooks, operation of Compost Site, maintenance of Cemetery, Ball Fields, Playgrounds, rubbish pickup at Town Hall, Squares, etc.
